Who can get married at the "Lakeview Chapel"?The primary requirement is a biblical guideline we call: "spiritual equality". Spiritual equality means that both the bride and groom are at approximately the same place spiritually. (This means that they are both believers, or both not in that category). We are bound by biblical restrictions found in II Corinthians 6:14. Pastor Mesa will be happy to consult any couple further on this issue. Could We Use Our Own Pastor? In most cases, the answer is YES! We are open to other pastors officiating at weddings on our site. But in keeping with our doctrinal convictions as an evangelical/conservative church, we desire only clergy who are in basic agreement with what we believe to be involved in any service here. For more specifics on this question, see the "About Us, Our Beliefs" page or contact Pastor Mesa personally. How much does it cost? The fee for the use of the facility for the day and our wedding coordinator is $650.00. Can We Have Our Reception There at the Church? We generally do not allow receptions and no alcohol is allowed, but contact us for further details. How Do I Book A Wedding?
The first step is to check with us about fulfilling our two requirements (see question above), and to ascertain what dates are available. Email
